Who would have guessed that a pearl was the product of an oyster trying to soothe a bit of irritation?  Whether it’s a shard of shell from an injury, a food particle, or a parasite, that precious nacre coat starts to form the pearl.  These precious gems come in a wide variety of colours, some even iridescent.

What A Pearl Wants is a white iridescent micro-flake nail polish.  This multifaceted shade can be layered to add an opalescent shimmer to any manicure.  Two to three coats worn alone form a uniquely colourful manicure showing off a rainbow of hues in pink, gold, green, and copper.  Over some shades, you may catch hints of blue.  As with most micro-flake polishes, thin coats with some drying time in between will offer the best results.
